At BAMS, our foci and objectives are driven by the vision and mission statements crafted by the instructors of the program. The first is the clear and long-term desired change that we hope to effect through our work with our students in both them and the community we serve.

 

 

 

 

 

Our mission statement, built on the pillars of inquiry experiences, a rigorous and relevant curriculum, and educational outreach, puts this vision into focus by giving us concrete goals to meet each year.

 

 

 

 

 

The Bullitt Advanced Math and Science Program provides a rigorous combination of online content, traditional classroom instruction, and authentic and exciting hands-on scientific inquiry experiences through Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, General Electric, and the Kentucky Science Center amongst others. Additionally, through a partnership with JCTC Southwest, students have the unique opportunity to attain their diploma and an associates degree during their junior and senior years of high school.

 

In short: yes, we are nerds, and proud of it.
